Deed Ziegler
Founder and CEO, RecPak
Deed Ziegler is the founder and CEO of RecPak. A former Marine Corps officer, he led a sniper platoon and developed the idea for RecPak during pre-deployment training for Afghanistan, where hot meals were slow, heavy, and often skipped.
Background
After the Marine Corps, Deed earned an MBA and worked in operations at Apple and Tesla before founding RecPak in 2022. He developed the formula with endurance sports nutritionists and food scientists. RecPak is a service-disabled veteran-owned company.
Outside of work
Deed is an avid mountain biker, skier, and an adventure traveler always planning the next trip.
